The Old Court House
Located in London, Ontario, The Old Court House is a venue that offers couples a fantastic location to host their wedding day or special event. This historical venue is constructed to look like a castle, allowing soon-to-be newlyweds to plan a fairytale wedding with their family and friends. With such a classic, yet one-of-a-kind setting, couples can host a celebration that leaves a lasting impression.
The Old Court House was inspired by Malahide Castle in Dublin, Ireland. Historic and brimming with charms, it was built in 1827 where it has been perched ever since. Vines crawl up the facade, and stone and wood architectural elements exquisitely blend together to create a magical backdrop for “I dos.” From the downtown location, couples and their guests can take in the surrounding landscape, which includes the Fork of the Thames River. In all, it's a peaceful setting that is conveniently located within the city. The facilities are used for a range of events today, with the ability to accommodate gatherings of around 200 people. There are spaces both inside and out that can be used for the ceremony and reception with different layout possibilities. This versatility makes it easy for couples to organize a wedding that fits their vision.
